Children’s Memorials
MEMORIALS FOR CHILDREN
We want to share our knowledge and experience with you.
Take Your Time
First and foremost: Take your time. Don’t rush into a decision. Don’t let others pressure you into quickly choosing a memorial or headstone for your child.
Designing a child’s memorial takes time and, possibly, several conversations. It should aid in the grieving process and create a positive space for parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends.
Creating a memorial together can also help families heal. Our memorials are a welcome alternative to traditional headstones because they offer virtually unlimited design and color options.
Design It Yourself
We encourage you to use positive memories and emotions as the foundation for the design.
Write down your thoughts, gather pictures, objects, songs, colors, or hobbies that were meaningful to your child or family. Involve siblings and grandparents in the design process to create a truly personal place of remembrance.
Build the Memorial Yourself
Many families find comfort in assembling the memorial together. If permitted by the cemetery, we fully support this option.
With some basic skills—or with our phone support—you can install the memorial yourself. If cemetery regulations do not allow it, we can install it for you while you and your family are present.
CHILDREN’S MEMORIALS IN RAW OR CORTEN STEEL
Child-friendly designs like animals or fantasy figures pair beautifully with raw or Corten steel. Rust tones, especially when lit, create a warm, natural feel.
These memorials are designed not to feel heavy or overwhelming. You can also combine materials like stone and steel for a more customized design. Border options include pebbles, colorful stones, or classic stone/steel edging.

CHILDREN’S MEMORIALS POWDER-COATED, GALVANIZED RAW STEEL, OR STAINLESS STEEL
Powder coating allows colorful, child-friendly designs—up to 200 colors are available.
Two-tone designs, handwritten notes, hand or footprints, and colorful images are also possible. All memorials can be illuminated for a beautiful effect.

THE PATH TO A BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN’S MEMORIAL
We would like to introduce you to our approach to self-designing a child's headstone.
Contact us, and let’s talk about your ideas — even if they’re just thoughts at first. We’ll listen and show you what’s possible, often more than you might expect.
After our first conversation, take some time to reflect. You can sketch, write, or simply think about what feels right. When ready, share your ideas and together we’ll shape the design.
You are the creator — we simply help bring your vision to life. This creative process can be a meaningful part of healing.
We’ll send you design drafts to review and adjust. Once you feel the memorial is just right, we’ll handle cemetery approvals and begin crafting.
Many families tell us, “We’re actually looking forward to the memorial.” It’s a surprising but beautiful expression of how the design has already become a positive part of their grieving and remembrance.
If permitted, families can also help install the memorial. This final step can create a powerful, lasting connection to the place of remembrance.
Please feel free to call us anytime to begin the process.
