Communal Memorial Garden: SIA Urn Stele
Stylish Resting Place for Urns
The SIA Urn Stele — The Welcoming
Urn walls are popular in cemeteries as an alternative to traditional burials. Urns are placed for a set period and then removed to make space for others. This allows multiple people to share a small space with little or no maintenance required.
Unlike traditional concrete and stone urn walls, which can appear heavy and uninviting, we focus on lightness and aesthetic appeal.
The SIA Urn Stele, made from Corten steel, blends into green landscapes but also adds color to bare areas. Multiple steles can be arranged to create a harmonious overall design.
Construction and Features
The stele consists of cube modules. Each cube holds 2 urns and includes a candle niche and a shelf for small mementos.
A side planter can be customized or used to hold vases or keepsakes. The slim stele requires minimal space and can be arranged flexibly.
Candle Niche and Planter
A leaf-patterned nameplate features cut-out letters and designs that can be beautifully backlit. The nameplate can be replaced when the space is reassigned.
