Communal Memorial Garden: The Bee Sanctuary
The Cemetery as a Valuable Living Space
Our Bee Sanctuary — Sustainable and Full of Life
The sun shines, flowers bloom, and bees hum — a beautiful day to reflect on memories. Our Bee Sanctuary provides a home for wild bees and other insects while offering families a peaceful, living space to remember loved ones.
This memorial garden can be customized in size and layout. Name plaques can be placed close together for couples or individually spaced. Larger borders allow more urn placements.
The Bee Sanctuary is designed to be filled with plants and flowers. The right plants bring the memorial to life and offer comfort to families.
The Monument (Stele)
At the heart of the garden stands a Corten steel stele combined with 200–400-year-old oak beams from Schwäbisch Hall, Hanover, and Salzburg. The honeycomb design is reflected in the name plaques and lamps. Each memorial is unique and fully recyclable. Insect residents emphasize the natural individuality.
The Memorial Lamps
The lamps feature a honeycomb design or can be customized. Currently available in seven designs.
The Offering Bowl
A designated space allows families to leave flowers, decorations, or small gifts — a practice often prohibited in other memorial areas but deeply meaningful to many.
The Name Plaques
Name plaques come in honeycomb or other custom designs. They are lightweight and easy to attach, often by the family themselves, creating a meaningful moment.
With its unique features, sustainability, and role as a habitat, the Bee Sanctuary is more than a memorial — it’s a forward-thinking concept.
